2014 Thor Motor Coach Chateau 26A

Choosing the right RV may take some time – you’ll have to visit web sites to find floor plans you like, and then visit a dealership to walk through the floor plans. Before you start looking, it’s always a good idea to make a list of requirements. For example, if you have three kids you definitely need something that sleeps at least six – cramming five people in something that sleeps four never works.

A Motor Coach That Sleeps Six

The 2014 Thor Motor Coach Chateau 26A, now available at Leisure Time RV in Oklahoma, is perfect for a family of five. It is 26 feet long and sleeps six people. The Ford engine is backed by an automatic transmission – and this RV can tow up to 5,000 pounds, so is perfect for hauling a snowmobile, jet ski, ATV or motorcycle with you.

Tank Capacities

The tanks hold plenty for a long weekend: 40 gallons of fresh water and 26 gallons each of waste (black) and gray water.

The Floor Plan

The cab-over bunk is perfect for two adults; and it features a 22-inch LCD television. Moving back, the booth dinette not only seats six, but it folds down into a bunk for two. Across the aisle, the sofa could sleep one if you really need the extra space.

As you move toward the back of the RV, passing the entry, you have a full galley with a refrigerator, sink, microwave and three-burner stove. The closet next to the sink provides additional storage.

The rear of the RV features a 60-inch by 74-inch queen bed and a full bathroom with a sink, large shower and toilet.
