Customizing Your RV

Whether you buy a new or used RV, you’ll want to customize it so it’s “yours” and feels more like home rather than a hotel room on wheels. You can customize the interior and, to a certain extent, the exterior so that your RV looks different from other RVs.

Exterior Customization

You won’t be able to put anything permanent on the outside of the RV unless it’s some type of sticker or you get a customized paint job as anything else will fly off when you go down the road. That doesn’t mean you can’t change the way the exterior looks once you get set up. Add a string of seasonal lights to the awning – or if you’re camping and it’s not a holiday, use white lights.

If you are buying a new RV from Leisure Time RV, order it with custom graphics, an outdoor kitchen and an exterior shower. The outdoor kitchen and shower not only make camping life easier and more fun, but they open up the space you have for entertaining.

Interior Customization

You can do just about anything to the interior of an RV including changing the fans and light covers, changing certain wall coverings and adding throw rugs. Additionally, our parts and accessories store has tons of things you can add to make more storage space and make living in small spaces more convenient.

Pick up some under-table storage drawers, cabinet hangers for trash bins and cleaning supplies, appliances and storage items that hang under the overhead storage or even things you might use outside such as extra folding chairs and grilling equipment.

If your RV comes with a washer and dryer prep, add that washer and dryer. Add a television to a bunkhouse or a main bedroom if you bought a unit that doesn’t provide a television in those rooms. Depending on the model, you could even add a fireplace to the living area. Though, if you do add a fireplace, be sure to add some throw rugs or cushions so you can stretch out on the floor in front of the fire.

Stop by our parts and accessories store at Leisure Time RV to pick up all of the accessories you need to customize your RV before you head out on your next trip.
