Extra RV Storage

If you have one, you love your Oklahoma City RV! Nothing makes camping or road trips better than being able to get up and make a sandwich or take a shower while going down the road. Even so, if you spend most of your time in a traditional home, the roominess can occasionally be less than preferred. Here we share some tips on how to maximize the space in your motorhome.

Go Flat

No, not a flat screen (which is also a space saver), but we mean your walls! Yes, while they shelter you from the weather and provide a place of solace, they can also be used to store things by way of wall organizers. These come in plastic or cloth and contain a dozen or so pockets for which many things can be stored.  Some even have drawstring to keep an even more secure hold on your items.

The Void

You know, that space where there is nothing but stale air and dust. No, not that time you spent with a stranger in the elevator. We’re talking about the unused area under the bed! Perhaps, if you have a standard home, you’re more accustomed to using it for random odds and ends. The same can be done aboard your motorhome. Simply, pack what you’re not using in collapsible cardboard containers and slide them under. This may even be a good opportunity for you to invest in a Space Bag. This device will suck all the air out of the bag you are storing clothing in which offers you a compact way to store your clothes. If you are packing heavy or are a full timer, this could come in handy.

These are our most successful ways of increasing the amount of things we can bring on trips. Leaving the house and not feeling like you’ve left something is quite calming. What are some ways you use your motorhome space? Let us know in the comments below!
