3-9-2016-Apps

It’s no secret that RV travelers are often trying to escape the stresses that technology creates. However, you may not want to ditch your smartphone before you hit the road. There are countless smartphone applications out there that can help you find the cheapest fuel, locate an RV park that suits your needs and even help you get to your destination more efficiently.

The following three RV apps are ones that you should download before you hit the road for your next RV adventure.

AllStays

The AllStays app is worth paying the $9.99 required to download.  This easy-to-use app will help you find campgrounds and overnight stops based on the services each option provides. Users can browse more than 29,000 listings to find parks with dump stations, campgrounds with hiking trails, or even Walmart shopping centers that allow overnight parking. The AllStays application also provides construction alerts, bridge clearances, rest area updates and so much more. Updates are always free, so your initial $9.99 purchase will go a long way.

Google Maps

Many smartphone owners have already downloaded the Google Maps app, but if you haven’t, you’ll want to download it before your next adventure. This app will locate the quickest route to your destination while helping you find stops along the way. Simply load your Google Maps location and search for an item, such as “gas” or “food,” and you’ll be provided with all of the available options near your location.

GasBuddy

Download the free GasBuddy app now. After all, you can use it with your everyday vehicle as well as your RV. This user-friendly, free app will help you locate the lowest fuel prices near you. All of GasBuddy’s information is user-submitted, so be sure to call ahead or look through the photos to determine if a gas station is RV friendly.

Make sure your RV is in top condition before you hit the roads this spring by bringing it to our certified RV technicians right here at Leisure Time RV in Oklahoma.
