Leisure Time RV Wants You to Adopt a Pet

Here at Leisure Time RV, we care about more than life on the road. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Animal Welfare Oklahoma City to help more pets get adopted this year. The Oklahoma Animal Shelter is one of the best places in the state to locate your new best friend and perfect travel companion.

Why Adopt a Pet?

Adopting a pet will likely be one of the best decisions you make in your lifetime. Not only will you save the life of an animal, you’ll gain a family member that quickly becomes your best friend. According to the United States Humane Society, adopted pets are good for your self esteem. They’ve been proven to be emotionally, physically and psychologically beneficial to their owners.

The Oklahoma City Animal Shelter makes it easy and affordable for you to leave with a new pet. You can adopt a pet from 12 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., any day of the week at 2811 Southeast 29th Street.

Find Your New Best Friend

Animal Welfare OKC makes finding your new best friend simple. In addition to stopping by the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter, you can find outreach adoption services at other venues like PetCo and PetSmart. A number of the shelter’s cats are also available at the Midwest City PetSmart location every day of the week. Log onto the Animal Welfare OKC website to find out when an outreach service will be coming to a store near you.

Already Have a Pet?

Adopting a pet isn’t the only way you can help animals without a home. Those who are unable to take in a pet can make a tax-deductable donation to the shelter through the site’s Animal Welfare Donation Station.
