Sea Lion Presentation at the OKC Zoo

The new Sea Lion Presentation at the OKC Zoo kicks off on May 1, this year, and it’s an event you won’t want to miss. Watch California sea lions splash and play during must-see educational (and fun) presentations. The sea lion presentations will be held Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so plan your visit around one of the shows.

The Riversport Rapids Grand Opening Spectacular

Kids and adults from across OKC will not want to miss the grand opening of Riversport Rapids. This one-of-a-kind water park features whitewater rafting, an Olympic style slalom kayaking course and professional rafters and kayakers to help you learn the ropes. This state-of-the-art aquatic adventure facility is one of few in the world, and the big opening weekend event gives you a chance to meet world-famous Olympic athletes while enjoying live music, fireworks, food and tons of family-friendly activities.

40th Annual Paseo Arts Festival

Celebrate Memorial Day early at the 40th Annual Paseo Arts Festival on Sunday, May 29. The festival will feature more than 80 visual artists, who will be onsite selling their paintings, ceramics, photography, woodwork and so much more. In addition to artists, the event will feature dozens of musicians, live performances and delicious treats. The festival’s children’s area also makes it a fun event for the entire family. The festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., at the Paseo Arts District. Admission is free for all attendees.
