It’s May and that means spring is in full bloom! There’s nothing like beautiful weather that will make you want to get on the road and enjoy fresh air outside your camper. With that in mind, there happens to be plenty of reasons to get out this month around Oklahoma City. So, let’s take a look at what’s coming up!

Red Earth MuseumRed Earth Master Artist Show

With a wealth of American Indian culture and history, we’re proud to share our knowledge and support the community. The Red Earth Festival and Museum will be showcasing impressive American Indian artists from across US right here until June 28th. Come Monday through Friday, from 10 – 5, to see imagination and creativity alive on canvas! This show is budget friendly with free admission!

A Globetrotter’s Guide To The Orchestra

Have a night of refinement and class by attending the season finale of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic on May 11th at 8pm. Conductor Joel Levine leads the night of music across the strings from sounds around the world. Such popular composers as Tchaikovsky and Wagner with classic favorites of Adagio for Strings and Overture to The Flying Dutchman will be played. Come early for a preview at 7pm!

Celtic WomenCeltic Women

Speaking of cultural fare, the lovely and talented Celtic Woman will be at the OKC Civic Center Music Hall on May 16th at 7:30pm. The selections chosen will taken you back to a time of rolling green hills of solace from the Irish country side infused with a mix of classics including “Ava Maria” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
