Oklahoma City January Events

We here at Leisure Time RV we feel very fortunate to live in a city that is bustling and full of interesting and entertaining things to do all year. So, we’re starting the year off right by sharing some of our favorites with you, the reader. Here are some great events happening right here this month.

A.R.T. Show

From now until 2/15, Science Museum Oklahoma is partnering with OKC Beautiful to present a treat for all ages. In the age of wasted consumer products and over consumption, conservationists and artists alike come together to create something worthy of notice. This group gathered discarded materials from around the city and made art out of it. These upcycled creations will impress the value each resource wasted has. It will make you think twice before you throw that plastic bottle or aluminum can in the trash.

Winter Quilt Show

No matter if you’re in your motorhome or standard home, it’s quite likely that during this time of year you could use a blanket. You don’t want just any blanket though; you want one that speaks to your personality. Perhaps one full of color or thin enough to use by the fire? If so, don’t miss your chance to check out blankets from all over at the OKC winter show this weekend! Located at State Fair Park, the passes are $10 or $20 for all 3 days.

At the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, January 17th – 20th, you can become a critic in your own right of short films from Sundance. The genres are varied but there is something for everyone.

The Original Free RV, Boat, & Outdoor Leisure Show

Don’t miss Oklahoma’s January RV Show this weekend: January 11th – 13th.  The show is free and open to the public.  We will be there showcasing great deals from our Oklahoma City RV Dealership.  Stop by and say hello!

Have you been to these or are now going because you heard about it here? If so, let us know how it went. Don’t see your favorite listed here? Tell us what we missed in the comments below!
