Road Trip to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma


When you take a road trip to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, you can stay at the Warrior RV Park. The RV park is in Tulsa, about 18 miles from Broken Arrow. The park features flat, paved sites, free WiFi, a friendly staff, access to several nature centers, recreation and education, all along the Arkansas River. The area also features many fishing lakes.

The town features many activities depending on the dates you visit. Stop by the Rose District for art shows, the Broken Arrow History Museum and the Broken Arrow Genealogical Society. You’ll also find two trails. Liberty Trail has 10 access points throughout the city; and Linear Trail has one access and meanders through one of the many parks in the area.

Play Golf

If you are a golf fan, you have seven courses to choose from. Only two of them are public: Battle Creek and BA Family Golf Center. Forest Ridge is semi-private. BA Golf & Athletic Club, Cedar Ridge, Golf Club of Oklahoma and Indian Springs are private. Cedar Ridge and Golf Club of Oklahoma are closed on Mondays. All have a “no denim” policy except for Battle Creek and BA Family Golf Center.

Historical Bus Tour

If you are in the area on March 28, 2015, take a historical bus tour. The tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and returns to the museum at 2:00 p.m. The tour will take you around to Broken Arrow’s many historic homes and sites. The day starts with a continental breakfast and the tour takes time for a box lunch.
