If you’re planning to travel through Oklahoma this summer, you’ve got any number of great RV camping destinations. One of the best places in Oklahoma to take your RV is Sequoyah State Park.

Located in eastern Oklahoma on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake (about 45 minutes southeast of Tulsa), it’s a place both water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy. The 18-hole golf course has a pro shop that offers rental equipment, snacks and drinks, corporate outings, tournament bookings, and more. The riding stables offers trail and hay rides on wooded and open trails throughout the park.

There’s also a full-service marina that offers boat rentals and sales, loading docks, gas docks, slip rentals, paddle boats, and bait and tackle supplies.

On-site park facilities and amenities include a restaurant, meeting rooms, swimming pool, splash park, tennis courts, playgrounds, recreations programs, and outdoor cookouts.

RVers can enjoy 48 full hook-up sites and 80 water and electric hook-up sites spread across three areas, Seminole, Choctaw, and Cherokee. Reservations will guarantee a site in a specific area and a specific site number.
