September is the perfect time for loading up the RV and heading out to some early fall events. Even if you live in the area, you can make a weekend out of a one-night show by reserving a spot in a nearby RV park for the weekend and attending the show or festival.

Be sure your RV is ready to roll and pick up any necessary accessories or amenities at Leisure Time RV before you head out. Since you have the weekend, you wouldn’t want to head back into town just to pick up something you forgot.

You definitely don’t want to miss this classic, so get your tickets and make sure the RV is prepped for some down-home, string-busting fiddling.

The kids are more apt to enjoy something like Disney on Ice Let’s Celebrate Oklahoma City in Oklahoma City on September 11, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma State Fair Arena. The arena is located at 333 Gordon Cooper Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a popular show, so you might want to get tickets as soon as possible.

An oldie but goodie is coming up on September 2, 2014 – at 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center Music Hall, you can enjoy a showing of the Phantom of the Opera in Oklahoma City. The civic center is located in downtown Oklahoma City.

September 7, 2014 brings you the 2014 Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Zoo Amphitheatre, 2101 NE 50th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Be sure to reserve September 12, 2014 for the Oklahoma State Fair in Oklahoma City. The fair opens on Friday at 8:00 a.m. at the Oklahoma State Fair Park, 3221 Great Plains Walk, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

You can make a weekend out of any of these September events by making reservations at nearby RV parks. Be sure to bring your cameras – no matter what you choose to do, you’ll be sure to have some excellent picture-taking opportunities. Stop by Leisure Time RV before you head out to have your RV serviced if it hasn’t been serviced since the spring, or to pick up any accessories or amenities you might need for this trip.
