Spring Break in Oklahoma

When you visit Oklahoma on an RV trip – or even if you live here – you may want to visit some of the best places during spring break. Many of these places are great whether you are a college student on an RV trip or a family on a trip.

Toy and Action Figure Museum

No matter your age, if you love action figures, you’ll love the Toy and Action Figure Museum. Over 11,000 classic action figures are on display including popular toys form the 1950s. The older “kids” will love toys from the ’50s through the decades and younger kids will enjoy toys from their generations. Oklahoma City Zoo

People of all ages will enjoy the Oklahoma City Zoo; and children will love the Children’s zoo where they can pet barnyard animals and feed nectar to the lorikeets. The Oklahoma City Zoo features more than 2,500 animals on 110 acres. Exhibits include the Great EscApe exhibit, Elephant Habitat, Cat Forest and Lion Overlook. Alabaster Caverns State Park

Take a guided cave tour through Alabaster Caverns, the worlds largest gypsum cave that is open to the public. The cavern is ¾ mile long. With the proper permit and equipment, you can also go spelunking in the area’s wild caves. Alabaster Caverns State Park is located at 217036 SH 50A, Freedom, OK, 73842. Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium

Kids of all ages will enjoy this spring break destination. Check out a fighter jet, fly a scale model in a wind tunnel and play with more interactive exhibits.
