Spring has Sprung in Oklahoma

Spring fever will have you itching to take to the Oklahoma highways for a dose of fun and excitement. If you want to see the spring sights but don’t have an RV, now’s the time to consider investing in the ride of your life.

Spring Happenings in Oklahoma

  • The Azalea Festival will be in full bloom on April 1 at the Spaulding & Honor Heights Park in Muskogee.
  • The Dogwood Days Festival in downtown Idabel will be ablaze with pink and white dogwood blossoms on April 5.
  • Make your way to the Oklahoma State Fairground on April 11 for the Women’s World Craft Show.
  • The Guthrie 89er Celebration takes place on April 15 in historic downtown Guthrie and promises plenty of fun, food, and rides.
  • The Festival of the Arts event is scheduled for April 22. The fest will be set up at Sheridan Avenue & Hudson Avenue. Also on April 22, the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts will be held at Festival Plaza.
  • Toes will be tapping on April 24 at the Duncan’s Grove 3rd Annual Spring Bluegrass Festival held at Duncan’s Grove RV Park.
  • Celebrate your Scottish heritage on April 26 at the Iron Thistle Scottish Festival at the Kirkpatrick Family Farm in Yukon.
  • Three festivals in three cities on May 3rd offer three very different events. Satisfy your craving for tasty burgers at the Fried Onion Burger Day Festival in downtown El Reno. Muskogee has the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival located at The Castle of Muskogee.The third is the May Fair Arts Festival located at Andrews Park in Norman.
  • Sample some flavorful grapes at the Nuyaka Creek Winery Spring Wine Festival in Bristow on May 17th. The luscious festival takes place at the Nuyaka Creek Winery.
  • If you prefer ice cream to wine, then head over to downtown Tuttle on the 17th for the ever popular Tuttle Ice Cream Festival.
